A few great recipes

This last week I made a few new recipes that my family and I really liked.

The first is Beef Baked Ziti. It is super easy and good for you.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 t olive oil
1 T minced garlic
28 oz stewed tomatoes
1/2 t pepper
1 t oregano
1 t rosemary
1 t thyme
1/2 t salt
12 oz ziti, cooked and drained
1 c shredded part skim mozzarella

Directions:
Brown ground beef in olive oil and garlic. Drain.
Add all other ingredients except pasta and cheese.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Combine pasta and meat mixture and then pour into sprayed 9 x 13 pan.
Top with cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350.
Makes 8 servings.

The second one I'd like to share is Hash Brown Casserole. YUM without all the fat of the original version.
Ingredients:
2 lb bag frozen hash browns, southern style
10 oz can cheddar cheese soup
16 oz fat free sour cream
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
7 oz Kraft 2% shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Mix all ingredients except for the shredded cheese.
Pour into sprayed 9 x 13 pan.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake 1 hour at 375.
Makes 8 servings.
